TET (Joan Derifield x Robed in Majesty), 28", M, Sev, Re, fr, EMO, 6", 3-way branching (2 laterals plus top). Very clear, saturated, velvety, dark raspberry with etched pink raspberry eye and indents at the outer midribs; small white midrib “twinkles" at the throat; pink raspberry plus white edge; yellow to green throat. Very distinctive color and noticeable from a distance. Very fertile pollen; average to somewhat below average pod fertility.

(Gossard 2010) - 28" TET 5.5" Mid, SEv, Fra, RE, emo - creme pink flowers with a eyezone of charcoal, light blue, blue ,lavender blue, lavender purple, purple , maroon and maroon red. Petals even have a start of a gold edge. Blue Beetle is Jamie’s best introduction for 2010. Retains it’s blue eye in the afternoon, #1 parent for blue daylilies. Substance is very good and flowers hold up to the evening hours. First bloom scapes are partially double, rebloom scapes can be fully double. Because it does not double all the time, it was not registered as a double. Blue Beetle is a breakthrough in blue pattern breeding at the Tet level. 3-4 way branching 18-22 buds. Petit - SPRING 2009 - 24" Mid TET Sev. 6" - Like the beautiful golden sunsets of Captiva Island, this flower is a bright beacon in the garden. The flower color is a glowing coral gold, with hints of pink and orange. The petal edges are very ruffled and crimped with a sparkling gold filagree. The gold edges continue around the petaloids as well. The gold, glittering edges all over the flower, combined with the very bright flower color, produces a glittering image of a molten sunset.
